About Baptist Bible College & Seminary

Baptist Bible College & Seminary is a private Bible College in Clarks Summit, which is a borough in Lackawanna County, in northeastern Pennsylvania state, USA, with more than 5000 people, living within its limits, at the time of the 2000 census estimate.

The college was established in 1932 and was originally located in Johnson City, NY, where it remained for the first 36 years of its existence, in 1968, the school moving to its present location.

Baptist Bible College & Seminary currently offers its students 31 programs at the undergraduate level, including graduate studies and seminary studies, as well as special summer programs in which nearly 4,000 visitors participate.

Athletics

The athletic teams from the Baptist Bible College & Seminary are known as The Defenders and they compete in NCAA Division III, CASAC, for most sports. Their distinctive colors are blue and white.
